Graduation Requirements

The degree-awarding criteria for this programme are as follows.

Pass

A candidate is eligible for the MDA provided he/she

i.         obtains grades of B- or better in all course units aggregating to 30 credits

ii.        achieves a minimum GPA of 2.70  

AND

iii.  completes the relevant requirements within a period of three academic years.

Merit Pass

A candidate shall be awarded a Merit Pass provided he/she

i.         obtains grades of B+ or better in all course units aggregating to 30 credits

ii.       achieves a minimum GPA of 3.70          

iii.  obtain grades of A or better in course units aggregating to at least 50% of total credits for the course units considered for awarding the MDA

AND

iv.      completes the relevant requirements on the first attempt.

Distinction Pass

A candidate shall be awarded a Distinction Pass provided he/she

i.         obtains grades of A or better in all course units aggregating to 30 credits

ii.   achieves a minimum GPA of 4.00

AND

iii.         completes the relevant requirements in the first attempt.

A candidate should apply for the award of the Master of Data Analytics degree on satisfying the above requirements.
